Yeah baby! And for once, there’s no rain in the forecast so you know what that means…fishing, fishing, and more fishing.
This afternoon, I had to drive over to ROK 2nd Fleet Headquarters over at Pyongtaek Port to return a computer I rebuilt for them. It’s a good drive and by the time I was getting back, it was quitting time and anticipating just such an event, I had strategically put my fishing gear in the car this morning
So I didn’t stop back at the office, didn’t stop at home, and didn’t collect my $200 but drove straight to the lake to get a few hours of fishing in.
The weather was perfect and the fish were biting but unfortunately, they were all a bit on the small side.

I caught a few just like the one above and threw them back. This one swallowed the hook deep and I had to cut the line with the hook still in the fish (you can see the line sticking out of its mouth). I kept this one because had I thrown it back, it would have died for sure.

This is the biggest one I caught this afternoon…nothing to brag about but it did put up a good fight. I can’t say it enough - there’s nothing like an afternoon of fishing. Peace, quiet, solitude, and best of all, time for and to myself.

Being that you got to go fishing and I had to work I just couldn’t help sending you this good piece of news.
Baseball, shmaseball.
The Indians offense rocks, but their pitching sucks this year. One of these days, they’re going to realize it takes money to build a well-rounded ball club.
